German Minister of Interior - patronat of the congress
The 6th German Congress for Sports Economics and Management is taking place under the patronage of the Federal Minister of the Interior, Dr. Wolfgang Schaeuble. To the organizer`s belief the most important German politician for sport affairs motivates all scientists, athletes and media representatives to keep on focusing on sports by taking over the patronage.
The German Congress for Sports Economics and Management is regarded to be one of the worlds leading sport management congresses and provides scientists and practitioners with a great opportunity for presenting and discussing relevant research as well as networking.
Congress organiser is the Institute of Sport Economics and Management of the German Sport University Cologne (Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln). With approximately 900 students the institute is the largest of its kind in Europe.
